The Ex9CL-100 series of residual-current circuit breakers are based on the classic principle of electromagnetic operation and polarized relay. The advantage of this solution is the independence of protective functions from voltage. Specific voltage is necessary only during the periodic test of the residual-current circuit breaker performed using the “T” button. Residual-current circuit breakers should be tested regularly every month.

- Time-delayed selective (trip) 40 ms

- Intended for fire protection, as the main residual current circuit breaker of a house, apartment, or as protection against leakage currents (e.g., due to imperfections in insulation)
- Selective operation with respect to AC or A-type residual-current circuit breakers installed downstream
